Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Urban Crypto apps and websites, including Emojiomics, BlockParty Flashcards, and Bull or Bear? (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction). If you are between 13 and 18 (or age of majority), you represent that you have parental or guardian consent. The Services are not directed to children under 13.

You may need an account to use certain features. Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. We may close, suspend, or reclaim usernames that are inactive, infringe, or are otherwise inappropriate.

Certain features are offered via a paid plan ("Plus"). If purchased on the web, payments are processed by Stripe and auto-renew by default until canceled. You can cancel anytime to avoid future charges; access remains until the end of the current term. We may offer a limited, discretionary refund within 7 days for first-time purchases made via Stripe—contact info@theurbancrypto.com. If you purchase via the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store's terms, billing, and refund policies apply. We cannot access or modify store-managed subscriptions.

• Do not violate laws or third-party rights.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Services.
• Do not upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
• Do not harass, defraud, or engage in abusive activity.
• Do not circumvent rate limits, paywalls, or security.
• Do not use the Services as investment advice or signal services.

Content is for educational purposes only and not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., usernames, avatars, scores). You grant TUC a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute such content solely to operate and improve the Services. Do not submit content you do not have rights to or that violates law or these Terms. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

The Services, including all software, games, texts, graphics, trademarks (including "The Urban Crypto", "Bigger Than Bitcoin", "BlockParty"), and content are owned by TUC or our licensors and are protected by law. Except for the limited rights you receive to use the Services, we reserve all rights.

Usernames, scores, achievements, and country/locale may be shown on leaderboards. You can opt out of public leaderboards in your profile settings (where available). We may remove offensive names or content.

We use third-party providers, such as Supabase (cloud hosting), Stripe (payments), and analytics (as disclosed in our Privacy Policy). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, cause harm, or where required by law. Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability) will survive.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TUC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TUC from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

For iOS users, the Apple Media Services Licensed Application EULA applies; Apple is not responsible for support or warranty beyond what law requires. For Android, Google Play terms apply. In case of conflict between store terms and these Terms, store terms govern for store-managed transactions.

We may modify the Services or these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated "Last updated" date and, where required, with notice in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, excluding its conflicts rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, unless your local law requires a different venue. You and TUC waive jury trial to the extent permitted by law.
